| Mechanism |
| The halogen-free titanium oxyester compound is used for fire protection. It forms a non-flammable titanate layer on the surface of the down & feather. The compound will decompose into titanium dioxide which is safe and stable once it comes into water and sweat, and still keep its fire retardancy. In addition, it is not in the restricted lists from bluesign® and REACH. The residual titanium dioxide is stable in soil and water so that it is not harmful to humans, fishes and other aquatics. |
